If you would like to localize this version of DiskStatus, you should first contact me to see if anyone else has done it already for your particular region. If you think that this is probably not possible or just want to do it for "fun", here are the resources you'll need to change:
• All MENU's, DITL's (except 129 if I left it in), and STR#'s. Some STR#'s require some explaination:
• Str#0,1 is the name for the preferences folder under System 6.
• Str#0,2 is the extension for the preferences file. It's added to the name of the application.
• Str#128,25 is an ellipsis character (3 dots). This is used to indicate truncated strings.
• You should translate the TEXT/Styl resource. Feel free to give yourself credit for the translation (thanks!)
The 'HEL#' resource contains the keywords in and size of these help windows. If you change the TEXT/styl resource, you must change the keyword list to correspond. Note, each keyword must appear in a different style than its surroundings and be less than 32 bytes long. Don't make any window bigger than 500W x 300H (so that the smallest Mac screen can see the window).
The 'Stri' resource should contain the script number required by the localization.
The 'TMPL' resources have English text, but you don't need to change it.
